Trevor Deards (Director)

Following completion of his apprenticeship at Neve Electronics, Melbourn, Herts. Trevor worked on recording studio mixing desks until 1976 when he joined Ling Dynamic Systems as a trainee.

Trevor progressed through the company training scheme enjoying training in many areas of the company activity but principally in the Test Dept. Where he became the System Test Engineer before accepting a position in the Service Dept. in 1980. Due to his company training, Trevor was able to assume a field position immediately and worked throughout the world on many large system installations and service contracts.

Joining Vibration Maintenance Services in 1988 enabled Trevor to increase his experience on a range of vibration equipment and he eventually took up a position at Ling Electronics UK to establish their Service operation into Europe. In 1993 Trevor was promoted to European Sales Engineer and represented Ling's sales interest in many European countries. When Ling closed in 1994, Trevor enjoyed a brief period as Sales Manager with Environmental Equipment, Newbury before rejoining VMS as a Senior Service Engineer working on many major service contracts throughout the world.
