The pictures above show two separate units which work together to allow automatic operation of a vibration system.
A single key policy is used as a safety feature to ' enable ' both units, e.g., Initially, the key is locked in position for local operation and cannot be removed. To allow auto / remote operation, the key must be set to the correct position on the LCIP , this applies power to the LCIP and the key can now be removed and taken to the RRCP . Once the key is inserted into the RRCP and set to AUTO it cannot be removed and power is applied to the RRCP .
The RRCP incorporates a single ON / OFF pushbutton & an Emergency Stop switch. High visibility status legends are also incorporated.
When the pushbutton is depressed, an ON command is initiated and sent to the vibration system, a RESET signal is sent 2 seconds later to clear any outstanding interlocks. The RRCP will receive a signal when the vibration system is READY and indicate the status to the operator.
The units are failsafe, for example; in the event of a power loss in either LCIP or RRCP , or if the key is removed, an EMERGENCY STOP is activated.
