Vibratech was founded in 1998. Trevor Deards, founder and Managing Director now employs a team of over 20 staff. At the start, Vibratech supported a small number of major test centres, but has progressed and now provides a comprehensive, world-wide service.

This progression has necessitated moving premises a number of times. The head office, workshops and stores now operate from new premises providing about 375 m² of floor space, located between Cambridge and Royston.

The team includes several people with many years experience in the vibration test industry. Training is an important part of business development. Over the years the company has taken on several trainees, ensuring knowledge and skills are passed on to sustain and grow the company.

The combination of high power electronics, large mechanical structures and sometimes oil and water has the potential to create many safety hazards. Vibratech's first priority is safety. This includes the safety of everyone who will be using or observing the system and the safety of the Vibratech service engineers. All service engineers have been trained in safe methods of work, and can assess the risks that are or may be present.
